Looking for players for travel team

Hey everyone. We have currently decided to start our own travel team and are currently looking for players due to half of team aging up. So we have half a team for 10 and 12u now. How do you guys go about getting new player to join? Social media? Newspaper? Ect

Around these parts we use multiple facebook groups and local online forums. But for us tryouts were back in Aug-Sept and teams are currently taking the winter off or are in winter workouts. Not many people are looking.

Facebook groups seem to be growing in popularity for advertising for players. Do a FB search for “travel softball” and see what’s in your area.

Have seen Try Out Signs with your Info at Intersections around towns stuck into the grassy areas.
