Leg kick and barrel movement (loading?)

What direction is the barrel moving as he prepares to swing?

I have other clips where the weight shift is greater and he isn't as balanced. Weight shift changes all the time in many hitters. Sometimes it's greater and sometimes it's less.

That is my favorite actions in this swing, hands start above and in-front of back shoulder, move down below the back shoulder and back, and up a little. The barrel action doesn't have to start level and then move vertical. My favorite actions.

I don't want to derail the thread and admittedly have nothing to offer as it pertains to the recent discussion. But everytime leg kick is brought up my mind goes directly to Alex Hugo. She was a "blast" to watch. (pun intended)
