My DD is a righty... she wants to know how much of a push should occur on the left foot after the rock back. Should the Initial push come solely from the right leg or no. Thoughts?
Its much like running, both legs are drive legs. Would you only want to push with one leg or one side of your body?
Do the push back drill and 2 step drill without a ball or glove to get the feeling of sprinting straight ahead. Feel the transfer of energy from pushing off left foot then almost instantly pushing off the right foot.
