Large roster size--who is getting cut?

For those of you that don't know, college coaches do cut players. This applies to all divisions. If your daughter is on a team with a large roster and isn't busting her a$$, she has a good chance of being cut. DD's coach almost cut a girl on a road trip when the player asked for more playing time.

P5 athletic scholarships are guaranteed for four years. A coach can tell them they’ll never see the field, but kids can’t lose their scholarships for performance or any athletic reason.

DD’s team had their individual meetings with HC today before break. Two players were cut. Roster down to 24. One of the players tested positive for wacky tabacky one too many times.
