Ok, How about this, I’ve heard everything up to that point is the windup.
I think it's the dead spot in the middle of release of foot from rubber to stride leg toe touch. I am somewhere of the belief that the release from rubber (ball out at 3) can happen a bit later as long as the leverage is attained when the stride foot plants and the arm is at around 11-10 oclock on the backside of the clock. This is where, imo, the adduction happens and the energy is put into the pitch. i think BM mentioned a while ago that this is the ballistic movement in the pitch. i probably got that wrong but close enough. K position is something like a black hole in the pitch. i check point before and after, and sometimes use a similar position on DD to start a drill. But not specifically important IMO. Except to check that ball is facing catcher.
