Baez (to my uneducated eye) is the definition of an athlete being powerful/skilled enough to get away with “unique” mechanics.

Or at the very least...the definition of “swing hard”...at everything....

The swing is an arc. The faster you swing it down the faster and sooner it can come up.(and the bat will be going faster when it does!)

Did you know rory mcilroy(and lots of golfers) hit up on the ball with their drivers?(have a positive AOA into contact).

Everyone knows you have to swing down in golf... its because you do right until the very last second.
