Just saying thanks for the people doesn't feel like enough

I have had the total fortune to interact with many people on the forum and also outside the sphere of cyberspace and I wanted to say how much I am grateful to everyone I have met or talked to. Many have gone above and beyond for both myself and my DD - and I have seen so many examples of others who give freely when they have the opportunity. I know I will miss someone in this thanks - don't ever think I wasn't grateful - it is just a long list...

corlay recently arranged for my DD to guest on his wonderful DD's team for a showcase we were attending in CT. It was a great experience - and we won some games :)
riseball took time out of his day to work with some Australian girls (and my DD) who had come over to guest with my DD's team last year. Thank you - my DD still talks about it and I am sure we will do it again. And thank you for sharing Jake's experiences with us
JAD - I had the pleasure of sitting next to him as his DD pitched for Duke in Florida. Thumbs up!
WARRIORMIKE - we talked on the phone like old friends for a couple of hours one night!
Cannonball and others who have shared their experiences and their DD's. I learnt A LOT about the recruiting journey from you and others. This has helped countless girls on their journey

BoardMember , @hilllhouse , javasource, sluggers, RICKPauly and so many others for the IR info on pitching.
CoreSoftball20 for making sure my indian has the right arrow at the right price -and for high end service & response
@crystalbrown - loved your DD's journey. Thrilled it is continuing in college
MTR and Comp - valuable, valuable information on the rules and perspective on the rules. Thank you.
quincy I am not sure what you are saying 80% of the time, but it is entertaining.
KenB for everything

And so many others - @Amy-in_AZ, TigerForty, EricF, humpty, rdbass. FiveFrameSwing and on and on and on

And thank you for Granddad Radar

And thank you to HeyBucket for giving us the Polebarn story and Ray-Ray. Both still makes me laugh to this day.

Thanks DFP

Marriard,

I've been meaning to thank you for your posts the other month on your point of view as a new-ish umpire. It would be great if you had time to distill some of those thoughts into a google doc :). I had two umpires gang up on me at a tournament Sunday to encourage to become an official umpire, vs someone who umpires 6-8 rec games a year to help out. I think I've been signed up for the USA National Umpire school in San Bruno, CA Feb 9th and 10th :/.

Always a pleasure man, you're a good dude...I always enjoy talking bats with folks. I really do wish I could meet a lot of the nice people I have talked and text with on here. But I don't live
in a metropolis by any means so nobody is ever "in the area" :)

I must say...Im glad this wasn't what I thought this post was gonna be...thought it was a goodbye post or something. Got a little worried for a second :)

First of all, thank you for the mention. You also have been a valuable member of this site as you have shared your journey. This is about as classy of a post as I have seen in a long time. Again, thank you!
