Check out video around 2:20 mark

Does anybody teach this. Where the hitters front knee kinda turns in and the heel leads the strideout. It helps load rear glute. Was going to introduce it to my DD but thought I should check in with the experts prior to doing so. And the use to be experts too.

IMO...What's happening in the rear hip is a lot more important than the front hip. I don't see IR of the front leg being an item I would talk much about, unless it was somehow causing an issue. A good rear hip coil that gets the rear hip pocket turning towards the pitcher, and the front leg being bent, is going to give you a lot of this look that we are seeing in the video.

Showing the sole, that's what this action is creating.

I would agree with the back hip being more important. Although front side focus can create better backside action. The focus on the front side can create a greater action of the backside, just be careful not to over do it.

Start the video at 3:50. What do you see back leg vs front leg movements?

Turning the front leg in like that promotes moving the pelvis forward first.
