i don’t care about whether it’s a good rule or a bad rule, but how to benefit from it.
Hit by pitch rule gets 1st base.

yep. thought about that one too. there’s a chance you could miss and runners advance.

At least put a limit on it.
One time per player per game or something.
That way panty waist coaches and pitchers have to gather themselves up and play the game against the best competitors at least part of the time.

Don Drysdale used to sometimes use a one pitch intentional walk. I don't guess that method would really work nowadsys
