One-handed drills on tee with wiffle balls, front hand and back hand each freezing at the end of the extension.
Two-handed drills with soft toss, same extension work with wiffle balls.
For each drill, looking to make sure that it's not just a poke with the arms, instead letting the hips drive the swing.

What do you mean by 'not just a poke'? I am trying to figure out what the tool is promoting. My thought is that it is keeping the hands back in the tight hand pivot point as long as possible. I would assume you would also want to look for body tilt and angle which may also help not 'poking'? I was always curious if this was a good training aid. I have been having DD just keep hands locked to shoulder while tilting and launching the swing.
