I've posted a few times about how I like the kids to practice with wood bats and noted that breakage was a problem. One of the posters in this forum told me about metalwood bats that combine the benefits of wood with the durability of metal bats.
So I got DD one for Christmas. We've been using it for BP and besides being a little heavier, it has been great! She's been pounding the stuffing out of the ball and it's all been good! The weight isn't really a problem, it's just sometimes she's more lazy than others.
