DD has had two strikeouts looking this year....in each case as she walked off HC said I do not want you to ever swing at that pitch. low and outside (easily in the river, if not on line of LHBB, and laces might have grazed the level of her lower knee. helped her confidence at the plate tremendously. still not hitting great for average, but lots of hard hit balls (long flies and line drives caught)

When she gets two strikes, call time and tell her you want her to swing at the next pitch, no matter where it is, and do her best to make contact. Take the decision out of the equation, and get her swinging. When she strikes out, tell her good job. Hopefully after a couple of at bats she will not fear striking out, and get back to swinging at good pitches.
