Wright State drops softball, affecting several local players

Wright State has dropped women's softball and men's and women's tennis. Locally, several girls were on the Raiders roster

We'll have to see how it effects other schools with similar budgets and programs. I doubt many Power 5 teams will be affected, but these smaller schools have given a lot of girls the chance to play, and we might be be losing some of them. Sad news for the Raiders; i hope they are the anomaly and not the trend.
