Yeah golf was my never guilty pleasure, then….got married….had Anna….next thing you know I’m in a different State and different hotel every weekend playing softball!

I miss it, only now I realize all the little things in golf that I took for granted, like you know, hitting the ball, chipping, putting, I can’t seem to do them like I did twenty years ago!

Took several boys to the range that’s 2 miles from the house a couple weeks back, I thinned a 5 iron blade and swore I broke a bone on the top of my left hand, felt like I hit myself with a hammer, hurt like crazy for a week!

Golf might be too violent for me now?

I never played golf for the game itself. I played for the camaraderie with the boys. When my wife would ask me to teach her how to play so we could play together, I would always answer with, "I stink. I can't teach myself to play." I also secretly said that because I wanted it to be a me thing, not an our thing.

I have two brothers that are both buddies of mine, their family owns a house in Cherry Grove, that one I posted recently where the road was flooded five foot deep. I have years of great golf weekends there, that house is one of my favorite places on this earth!

Bought another NP5PRO Spring Trainer for my youth pastor at church, bought it from the coolest guy from Idaho, he got it here in two days, I was pretty shocked when I walked in from work and it was on the kitchen counter. Very nice glove!

Yeah it’s gonna be, a few deposits have already been laid down! Weddings are also stupid! I’d much rather just give them the same amount of wedding money to use for a down payment on a house! Something you can see, something that lasts for more than one day! But what do I know?
