Reaperjet,
The journey can be difficult at times. But if your daughter truly enjoys it and her family is supportive of her efforts, it will end up being a positive experience regardless of the results or where it leads. I remember getting stressed when my DD was that age. She wanted to pitch, so we started working on the side. Then eventually found a pitching coach and then moved to travel ball. There have been times during the journey that I thought another position may be better for her. But she refused to let go of pitching. That is what she wanted to do. She has worked hard, has experienced some failures, and some successes. Earlier this week I received a SnapChat from her. It just contained three words "I did it!" with a picture of her college's softball roster. Her journey has taken her exactly where she wants to be, and that could very well happen for your DD as well. Try your best not to get discouraged and enjoy the ride as much as you can. Best of luck!
