Some of those teams mentioned above in North Carolina are really some of the best teams in the area. Not sure what kind of team you’re looking at, but a few of those teams recruit from all over the southeast and beyond. Not saying that’s a bad thing, but it is a business with some teams. Not sure of the age group you’re looking at, but there are plenty of local teams that are competitive in the area that are good options to. There are plenty of options that are more locally-based that consist of girls that play on middle school and high school teams. It’s a real easy way to build bonds and friendships locally.
