Looking at the numbers even if you assume:
a) the percent of young adults who identify as transgendered is the same as adults who identify as transgendered (the only number I could find) and that it is evenly distributed
in both directions and
b) the percent of transgendered young adults who play softball is the same as non-transgendred young adults
the odds of this impacting your kid are about as good as this:
