Daughter received an email from a college coach who has not seen her play yet, but whom daughter has been emailing her schedule to weekly. Coach is asking her how she did this past weekend. Frankly, she stunk (offensively, not defensively). The answer is of course to be honest, but is there something specific you think the coach is asking for? Like stats?

How did the team do? Coach most likely does not even care about a few ABs in a tournament and was probably just making small talk and sounding interested. She could tell the coach how the team did (definitely show that team success/failure is the most important) and then say something about playing well defensively but struggled a little bit at the plate. Then she could say that she is working hard this week on x, y, or z.
