How to find a team

The High School I go to does not have any sport teams, so I play wreck, but I know if I want colleges to see me play more then i need to play and i want to play travel softball. I have been looking for a team that needs another player and that practices close to me. I talked to my wreck coach because he also has a travel team (his team is full) and he said he would look around but i do not know if he will let me know so i want to also see if i can find a team. How can i find a team. I have looked on the internet but can not find anywhere close. Help please. Thank You.

Do you have a local batting center? You can also check the sport calendar in the your local paper. This is ASA's Web site http://www.asasoftball.com/tournaments/getLocalTournaments.asp
which will list the local tournaments in your area. Also get the Tournament Directors names for ASA, NSA, and AAU
