It depends on what day, what they're doing, and which team my DD was with at the time. Some days, field practice has been about 30 min away. Some days, getting to a week-night hitting session has taken nearly 1-1/2 hours to get to. My willingness to drive further distances has increased over the years.

We were typically 30-45 minutes over the years. Typical drive for anything (shopping, movies, etc.) where we live is 15-30 minutes, so not too bad.

Aggravating thing was that it was just far enough you can’t drop the kids off and go back home. 😋

We drive a little over 2 hours each way to practice for once a week 4 hour practice until tournaments start. Use to drive around an hour each way for two or three practice a week. Now our one practice day is nothing but the trip and practice but the rest of the week it is nice being free to schedule lessons and workouts.

Moving to 16U our HC had to step down due to his business travel jumping up. The field we used then was 45 minutes to an hour from our house. He talked the head of our Org to take us over and he is also the assistant at a DIII in town so we use their facilities. Cut our drive in half on even a bad day.

8 minutes.

At this age, my 10U DD is only allowed to be on one of two local Travel Teams. :)

She loves her team, coaches are good people and good coaches, and she gets a ton of playing time and is improving. And I LOVE the commute.
