To the OP, just leave. Breaking through on an established team is hard to do, and if the coach isn't willing to rotate through pool play, then he's not willing to rotate on pool play. There's not a lot you can do about it, and they'll always have reasons. They might even be true. But if you and your daughter are feeling like she's not getting a fair shot, that won't change. So finish up and leave.

One internal rule I think coaches ought to adopt is that in pool play, pitchers and catches don't start the game after they start. They handle the ball on every defensive play -- they can afford to take an inning or two off, especially in a bat your lineup situation. Not switching those two players to somewhere else frees up a defensive start for someone else. If you want to give them some play time at another position, have the #2 pitcher start the first game so they can play the secondary position, then pitch/catch the second and sit the third. if you make it a well-know rule, then it can give a coach a reason and justification for getting the rest of the bench in the game. Just something our coach is toying with for next season, but I think it's a good idea.
