Hitting the stick..

what is the stick's effect on a composite bat, I shied away from it for fear of damaging an expensive bat...we've used wiffle balls to warm up hitting pre-game.

I haven't used the hit-n-stick in a couple of years because of thinking it could damage the bats. Good to know you guys don't think it will. I like using it because it gives instant feedback to the kids where they are contacting the ball.

It is a good training tool, the important word is training. I have a problem with coaches using it with their on deck batter. Instead of trying to get your timing with the pitch, they are whacking the hit stick.
