Help a Softball Family

DFP Friends,

On Wednesday night my neighbors suffered a terrible loss in a fire at their home. The parents were at back to school night with their two kids at home. The daughter smelled smoke and went to the garage where she saw a fire starting near the electrical panel her brother tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher but couldn't. They escaped and saved the family dogs but the fire spread quickly and the garage is destroyed and the entire house is unlivable.

The father is a coach in the same organization my daughter plays in and the daughter has played softball since she was 8 years old.

I am asking for your help - please donate and share if you can. There is no more generous family than the softball family!

Thanks! Not sure if any DFPers have helped or not but the family has already raised past the original goal. There is still so much they need, but we are able to help them a little more every day!
