Hello! I’ve been lurking for a while, but finally decided to introduce myself. I’m a mom of two girls who’ve been bitten by the softball bug. They’re playing rec league this summer and hoping to tryout for a travel team. I don’t know that they’re ready, but they want to play when the summer season is over. Right now, they’re taking lots of private lessons, and we’re writing lots of checks. I hear that’s only the beginning.

I’ve got them both hitting. One wants to pitch; one wants to catch, so they’re each taking those. Honestly, they need a bit of everything. But we’re just in it for fun and some good exercise.
