Random question for all you NY people. How did you find the team your DD is on?

So my dd that plays softball was (and still is) like a German Shepard puppy. Ask her to do something, be helpful, be productive, she is incredible. Left bored without something to do, she is going to cause all sorts of problems.

Covid hit and Little League shut down. With the terrifying prospect of having my DD home everyday, with nothing to do other than bother her mother and siblings, my wife jumped into action. Basically she searched the web for softball teams.

It was late May, maybe early June. She saw an Ad / Post (Possibly on twitter? I don't recall exactly). "Looking for girls to play softball this summer. Contact John."
We contacted John and he said, "We are short players for a 10U team, I'll get you a uniform."
We said "Great"

she is now in the middle of her third year with the org.
