YesSo, are you saying that when toe touch to heel plant is being used as a trigger it looks mechanical? I would agree with that.
Look at heel plant on youtube. I follow Josh Cathcart (Baseball Doctor) a lot and he teaches heel plant/click. Not sure I like it. I see what he is talking about but to much thinking IMO.I don't think I've ever seen someone teach heel-plant as a trigger mechanism. That said, my daughter will sometimes go to a stride and hold move when she's not feeling comfortable with her timing, and heel-plant is her trigger.
