There is one person or was one person I always wanted to meet. That man was Hank Aaron.

I met Mr. Aaron in a men's room of the Milwaukee Athletic Club about 15 years ago. He came back to MIlwaukee quite often. I had just finished washing my hands and was drying them when he came in. I asked if I could shake his hand . He shook his head yes, and so I did. I thanked him and he said your welcome. VERY STRONG hand and grip at age 70. Probably the most well known person I ever met. It's a sad day when you lose a quality person such as Mr. Aaron.

In 1965 I attended a bat day game and was lucky enough to get a Henry Aaron model bat. As you can tell, I used it quite a bit and still have it.

His weight shift before the swing was never going to play a the next level. LOL. Eye - hand coordination phenom and Ambassador of the Game. MLB Channel giving him well deserved major props. RIP Sir.
