Ww, I actually spoke to Core on the phone last night, was telling him a Glock 19 is very hard to beat for that one pistol, it covers so many needs and does everything well. 9mm ammo was one of the things I covered with him, it’s come leaps and bounds in the last decade +.

I carry Speer Gold Dot 124g. +P, Federal HST 124g. +P, and old school Cor-Bon 115g. JHP, trust them all, the Cor-Bon is a laser!

I shot a lot of the “O.G. Corbon” (Winchester Q4174), lol! I don’t know if it compares to the modern 9mm ammo but it was really fun to shoot. It really goes CRACK when you turn it loose! And what you say about it being a laser is absolutely true. On a bench rest at 100 yards it is surprisingly flat and accurate.

It is really hard to beat the glocks. They aren’t much to look at, the triggers kind of suck, but they need very little maintenance and are flat out dependable. Here is what I just bought- G17 gen 5 MOS night sights. I got the MOS jic I decide to go with a sight.

I’d like to try the Federal HST +p. It was out of stock everywhere last time I looked. I will carry that or the Speer you mentioned.

I don’t know if you can read the date on the end of the box but it was apparently issued to me in November of ‘90.

Carried that ammo until some time around 2000. Switched to G22’s after that.

Got to try a CZ-75 P-01 at a range earlier this year. Aluminum frame. Liked it, but of course not available in MA. I don't think CZ-USA is willing to jump through the necessary hoops to get into the MA market.

I’ve never owned or shot any +P+ ammo before, but I carry and own tons of +P.

I was thinking their 115 grain JHP’s were- I guess not.

Still- I think the ammo I shot was the same 1350 FPS velocity so they have to be pretty close. Bet they really crack too.

I *think* they’re +P, don’t quote me though. But if you know anything about Cor-Bon, everything they load is hot!

I would like to have a medium sized revolver. I live out in the country (no neighbors) and occasionally see snakes I can’t get to with my mower. I think it would be a riot to shoot snakes off my zero turn mower with shot shells out of a pistol. That’s perfectly safe, right?

Safe...hmmmmmm...fun, thats prob a better bet :)

See, I like different...hahaha. No idea why. I think that will pass. I know at some point, a S&W 500 will
be in my collection...but trying to find that nice handgun for typical shooting. AD spoke very highly
of the 19.
