DD swears by her H web AS CMW3000, so much so that when I mentioned looking around for a used mitt to put in her bag as a backup, she insisted it could only be AS CMW3000. so we bit bullet and bought new CMW3001 (I guess they no longer make the 3001, but it seems to be same except for coloring), and start the 6 week break in process (true tank, out of box she cannot touch the two sides together).

DD says she likes H web because if she has to position mitt directly in front of her face to catch a pitch, she can still see it coming in.

I still have my HS glove I used in the outfield when not behind the plate. I bought this shortly after Mizuno was first introduced to the U.S. Just goes to show how long I've been an H-web fan.16020082625901748956744.jpg

You should send that to Rous and let him work his magic on it! That binding around the index opening will be tough!

Looks like that was some really good leather, is that a World Win model by chance?

What about this Glovesmith with a base for the I-web, most (ALL) I-webs lace directly to the crouch of the palm / glove shell. Odd!

This is a USA custom in wheat Duratan, with that added base I bet this one is one tough beast of a glove!

Yep. The binding is rough all over but I don't mind since I exclusively use my CMW3000 now.
