Glove Recommendation for 9yo DD?

That's the glove I got my nine year old for Christmas. Her team colors are black and gold, and she's bonkers about the color blue. Really nice glove and it works for her. She has problems closing even other youth gloves. I don't think you need to worry too much about webs at that age...just my two cents.

Very cool. Mine is crazy about blue too, so once she saw it, nothing else mattered.

I want to show off my sons "custom" bradley glove. He was still 7 at time he first received, its almost been 2 yrs he's been using this glove. Never a day of regret. He snagged an awesome outfield catch 3 days after glove came in while it was hardly very broken in yet. Just showed it was fairly game ready for a youth player. About to turn 10 soon and glove still going strong.

I would recommend the A500 Siren. It's inexpensive, easy to break in and they were used from 8u thru 10 without any issues by my girls.
We had the older grey color, different options now I think.

18.7 Ounces to this 12" glove. It's an Ogasawara web. I wasn't familiar with the style but he was apparently a Japanese ballplayer.

Thanks! Sounds like a great glove to me. Dd's 11.5" i web a950 is ~16 oz. Our HOH 12" h web is about 21(too heavy imo). We have a 12" basket web mizuno pro select its about 22 oz. For reference my 13" prodct 1b mitt is 26 oz.

I think glove weight is a really big deal for young players. Weight hinders skill development in my experience. Not surprised that the Bradleys are pretty light based on the recommendations from some posters. I think that is a really manageable glove for a strong 10u player Thanks again!

Just weighed my daughter's two Bradley gloves. Glove on the left is her infield glove a Next Play single post web 11.5", 17.7oz. The glove on the right is her outfield glove a 6090 Oryx web 12" made from Japanese Kip leather, 18.7 oz.
