Any high-quality glove is going to require a significant break-in period, and she may find it frustrating for a little while, or use it as an excuse to keep using her old familiar glove. In the long term, a quality piece of gear will help her be her best on the field.

DD used her new glove in practice and pitching lessons for a while before it was game ready.

Marucci 12 inch Cypress series. Saw it somewhere for $129. Paid $300 for hers. DD plays 2nd and pitches in TB. Pitches, 3rd, and SS in MS. I love the glove but it is a beast to break in. Maybe a little on the small side.

I've seen some of the fastpitch a2000 models for 189. Like the last year Monica abbot one and last year's Kelsey Stewart. The store bpathletics on eBay has both in Rht.
