Hello, I am from Newfoundland and I am a catcher. This year was our first year playing fast pitch at my age.. ( 15-17 ) in quite some time. I love the sport of fastpitch softball and I would love to get a scholarship to play it and to represent a team. However, there are no universitys or colleges around here that offer these scholarships or teams as far as I know. I would love to be able to play somewhere else and get an education at the same time. What do I have to do to get noticed or to let universitys know about me ?

Any help would be greatly appreicated

Hi Anthony:

Important question - for a girl or yourself (a guy)?

There are no softball scholarships for guys in US colleges. Only for females. The equivalent for males is baseball.

If it is for a girl - then there are specific things you need to do.

Let us know.
