Garcia not the big dog this year

Garcia is very good, but she isn't the best pitcher this year. Fouts looks unstoppable. She use incredible.

Rouchard from Virginia Tech was better than Garcia. In the Super...she ran out of gas.

You could make the case that she isn’t the best pitcher on her team (yes I know Faraimo is hurt)

FSU is hitting Garcia early. Garcia was hit in Supers when they lost game 1 I think it was.

Was SHOCKED to hear MEGAN FARAIMO didn't make the trip. That is a solid # 2 and she was devastating in Supers and I think Regionals as well. Rachel has to carry the load and she can but agree with you.

Fouts........that kid is the pitcher to beat.

EDIT** when I say hitting Garcia I mean making contact and putting the ball in play. Not necessarily hits but they are putting bat on ball alot and doing it early and often.

It appears teams have figured her out in some way. Not going for the rise/ramp ball as they did last year. FS got her deep into counts fouling tons of calls off and not swinging out of the zone. Great pitch and location recognition.
