Sure it was just 8U and our small local tournament but DDs team went 4-1-1 over the weekend taking home the championship trophy.
DD did well in he limited circle time 3 IP no R, 5 Ks. Unfortunately a minor injury to her landing foot is what limited her time. She seems OK now, hope it is something that goes away quickly and is just a minor strain and not a more serious problem.
Girls battled really hard in the championship game coming back from 9-4 down to win 12-9. This after playing 2 pitchers duels with the same team on Saturday. Go figure.
It is really amazing to see how much the girls improve at this age after just 2 months.
