I have some players that want to attend a D1 camp together. Yes, I know, this is not the route for recruitment. That's not what I'm looking for. These girls are high B to A level travel ball players that are interested in seeing a big time stadium, coach, players, campus, etc. - all the things that all of us, young and old, enjoy seeing at a major program. But if we are going to make the trip and spend the money, I'd like to go to one that isn't totally over crowded and over priced, something fun and informative that they can learn from while they are there. Does anyone have any recent experience with the winter camps some of the universities offer? Has any one had a player go to the Mickey Dean camp? They have a 1-3 day coming up in January. Auburn, Clemson, Ga Tech are some of the ones with winter camps coming up. I'd love any feedback before making a trip. Thanks!
