I look at softball as investment in the many life lessons that make well rounded young ladies.

#1 Confidence from mastering a difficult skill set!

#2 Work ethic from heavy practice schedules!

#3 Tenacity from overcoming adversity!

#4 Teamwork!

The list goes on..... I think softball gives a fantastic return on investment regardless of what level your DD chooses to play at. Softball can lay a foundation to build many successes in life upon!

My 15 DD hasn't played softball since 10U. She said she wants to tryout for the HS team. I decided to invest into her yesterday. We bought a new glove, batting gloves and some lizard skins to rewrap older DD's 2014 Lxt. We then went to the cages and started working on her swing. This is gonna be hard!

I have been sitting in Chick-fila lines for about an hour every Saturday since Covid. Now that is investing to me. I beg her to go somewhere else. Love the place but it's crazy at the moment.
