First middle school game

My daughter pitched the 2nd,3rd,4th innings in her first middle school game. She was put in at the start of the second and struck out the side and got a few more Ks in the other innings and allowed no runs. She also went 4-5 at the plate with 6 RBIs. I'm super proud of her!

It looks like DD is going to be our 7th grade's primary pitcher. We've still got a few weeks to go before our first game, but I'm (we're) really excited to start this part of her journey. She should have a pretty solid set of girls behind her, especially considering some of the horror stories I hear about school ball compared to travel.

Very happy to hear your DD is finding some early success, congrats to her. I hope there is plenty more in her future.
