Pushing ball into ground also stops the spin.
( also works if ball is bouncing slighlty)
Train ( no glove at all for drill)
Glove hand drops a ball.
Throwing hand push in ground.
Works reaction and proper grip.
Do this from on knees with athletic posture over the ball.
Repeat
Repeat
Repeat
Add spin with a little flic to add challenge!

Trying to pick up a ball spinning from the side ball can deflect away like a top hitting an object.
Also bare hand from the side nothing to push against.
Some will think then use glove. It is not as fast as barehand as previously mentiond
Still have to take out and throw.

Push in ground can be zero down time to throwing motion while defensive legs in motion.

Try this fun thing
Little kids learning
Roll big marshmellows
You will see how fast they can grab them ;)

Ha - great tunes! Cool, but we're talking about bunts a bit further down the the line to 3rd I thought?
Well, this is all I got! 😂😂. Just showing the barehand technique.

As far as 3B goes, it’s really up to the coach to teach the player to read the play. Understand the situation, how likely is it a bunt is coming? If a good percentage, move up the line 6-8 ft in front of the bag. The most important IMO is to read the batter from their set up in the box to everything they do before the swing/ bunt. If 3B waits on contact to react, they probably have no chance to make the play.
