I really like this post Ken. I’d add that it’s important not to put too much stock in comparing your team to what you see in the WCWS or PGF championships. Whatever level your girls are, you are there to elevate them...grow their skills, their character, their friendships. Most of us don’t coach the next members of the US national team, or the Sec’s next phenom...this game though is an awesome vehicle for all girls to grow into confident team conscious women. No matter what level you coach, if you keep that in mind, and respect the awesome charge you’ve been given, there’s no way you won’t want to keep learning, keep absorbing the knowledge of fellow coaches, teachers, mentors...
