Way off topic but white Soxs were playing Oakland. Hitter at plate leads league in hit by pitches. He had more armor on then a knight from mid evil times. He is playing pro ball so what do I know.

I would have her out..... barely. For the life of me, I don't understand why she has to start inside the foul line. If she was over another foot, I'd never call it.

The running lane is merely an option to protect the runner. It is not a requirement. Any coach worth their salt would tell their players to throw straight to fist base Thru the runner who is running in fair territory. It’s not malicious at all
