What's the base pad and pitching mound distance for ASA 10U? Is the pitching mound distance from the back or front of the plate?

The distance is 35 feet, measured from the back point of home plate to the front of the pitcher's plate (rubber).

Not sure what you mean by base pad. Can you specify?

I read a few rules of different local leagues online and they were either 55' or 60'. I will just have to ask our local organization.

ASA 10U Basepaths are 60'. Local leagues always have the ability to modify rules for themselves and many will do things like not allow a batter to advance on a dropped third strike at that age, or have time limits or max runs per inning.

FYI, the 60' is from the (pointy) tip of home plate to the far side of the bag. The way I keep it straight is to envision a 60' x 60' square and home plate and the bases are all within that square.

Just a point, all except 2B. For some reason, the center of 2B is set at that corner of the diamond which means on 25% is within it.

I just looked that up in the ASA rule book and your right MTR. I had never noticed that before.

Learn something new everyday thanks :)
