Most of the camps my dd attended offered discounts for attending multiple skills camps. Typically, my dd wanted to hit. She fielded in a few and pitched in others. There were only a couple where she did all three. However, at one camp, the HC kept asking her to go to this or that position and had the dd compete with players who were NLI signers. That was interesting.
Most camps DD ( also a catcher) attended offered discounts for multiple sessions. She rarely missed a session even when the camps had separate pitching and catching. She'd always let the coaches know she'd be happy to catch for a pitcher who's catcher couldn't make it at the last minute. It kept her in front of the coaches longer and allowed her to show off her skills as well as showing the coaches a team-player attitude. Since she was usually one of the few that were dropping and blocking, it usually garnered her a much harder look when it came to the catching session since they followed pitching most camps.
