DD has complained a few times about her glove falling off while in use. It sounds like it may have been stretched out a little by her wearing a batting glove under it some of the time. I have tightened it at the wrist as far as I can but it's still that way. She sometimes wears a batting glove under it when it's cold out or if her hand was sweaty/slippery or if she needed extra padding (when catching a fast pitcher).
<a href="http://s100.photobucket.com/albums/m24/obbay/?action=view&current=IMG_0330.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m24/obbay/IMG_0330.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

When she points the fingers down it's easy for the glove to slide off. This will be the 4th spring she's had this glove and she loves it-except for it sometimes slipping. She's 14 and the glove is a 12.1/4" SSK.

I noticed today that I can actually fit it on my hand without forcing and I never could before.

Any recommendations on what to do about this? Should she try rosin or something like that?

I asked a friend who repairs gloves as a side business to take a look at your post. Hopefully he will respond.

2 fingers in the last hole. 1 finger in each of the next two. That will help some.

A couple of suggestions:

- Make sure that the thumb loop inside the glove- and the pinky loop, if the glove has one- is as tight as you can get it.

- Tighten or replace/relace the lace that spirals around the heel of the glove. That lace will tend to stretch with use. Look at the lace at each side of the opening for the wrist. If there is a little space there, where the front and back of the glove attach, or the lace looks loose or stretched, that is an easy fix.

Many times when I replace that lace in a glove the hand opening is made smaller and the glove fits much tighter- much like when it was new.

Here is his website: http://www.freewebs.com/thegloveshop/index.htm

Thanks guys, that's great! If it's as simple as replacing a lace (or all of them for that matter) tht would be fantstic!!! I'll see if I can find a quality glove repair place in my area and if not I'll send it to The Glove Shop! I've seen that website before and was impressed. I think if anyone could correct the problem, he could!
In the mean time, I'll have her try shifting the fingers over which, btw, was what I had her younger sister do at your recommendation to help her with her glove problem!
