DD's team played 2 10 inning games a few weeks ago. First game vs a JUCO and the 2nd game vs D1. It was VERY hot that day, but I pushed through with no shade! She played 19 out of 20 innings, which I was very surprised to see, but she performed pretty well and even banged a double off the LF fence vs the D1 pitcher(nothing new-just in college now). She recently had her fall exit interview with the coaches, and they said she will be starting in the spring and they believe she could become one of the leaders of the team if she keeps doing what she's doing. She needs to watch her mouth though. She pretty brash and confident and doesn't care about the drama that comes with the upperclassmen egos. She needs to fly under the radar, keep choppin' wood and be a good teammate. She has TB teammate on the team, and they just feed off of each other. I don't think the upperclassmen know what to do with them!!! Anyway, mom and dad are proud.
