First got the idea from Howard Hashida to give attribution. Problem with the drill is it promotes standing straight up but used briefly it can make a lightbulb go on in terms of feel. Put the tee with the ball about shoulder joint high and tell them to stroke a line drive either straight or slightly rising. Make sure you practiced this before so you can really irritate them by doing something they can't. Ask a kid to do this who initiates the swing pushing the hands down and many of them won't be able to stroke through this ball but will pop it up. Great fun while they begin to think you may have a point. Once they figure out how to NOT push down and can stroke it, start moving the tee down a little at a time always ready to move back up if necessary. Get back to an athletic posture asap.

And somewhere in there make sure they understand the stroke they put on that high ball is the same stroke they put on the waist high ball except they are tilted over. http://imageevent.com/siggy/hitting/analysis;jsessionid=8fllcp2i01.lion_s
