Concord is about 2 1/2 hours away from us.

are you talking for a 1 time thing or an ongoing thing?

Whatever you can manage. Too much potential there with your DD to not go. Get a jump start in your understanding and then see if they can recommend someone closer or just go once a month and handle the rest with emailed clips.

I really think that a hitting coach would be a great idea but with our schedule (1 weekend available between now and the end of July, I own a business, etc...) Concord is not possible.

Do you know of someone between Sacramento and Chico?

She is hitting behind her axis, which is a good thing. However she has no weight shift, which is a bad thing.

Given her size, I believe you will find that when she learns to properly weight shift, her ability to drive the ball will go way up.
