DD hit a softball as far as I have seen one hit last night. It hit in the middle of the road leading up to the high school so it was easy to go on google earth and measure the distance. She was excited enough about it that she was up and moving around the house last night till after midnight. It seems like it is harder for them to find things they get excited about as they get older. DD got off to a slow start to the HS season going only 2-10 in the first 3 games. HS coach approached her and asked if she would like to move down in the order. She told him no and we went for extra BP 3 nights in a row. She has responded going 9-11 with 5 walks in the last 4 games. Full disclosure the HR was aided by the wind blowing out.
