DD having a great Junior season

DD's regional average is .765 and she has reached safely 21 of 22 plate appearances in the last 6 regional HS games. She is KILLING IT. And I am so proud of the hard work that she has put in to make the necessary adjustments. New hitting instructor is definitely helping her make some adjustments. As is her HS head coach, who was a slapper too and a National Champion. She has always hit well but was struggling against herself this summer. Still a great average but just not consistent enough for her. She was creating more power, hitting doubles and triples and not just singles. But now she seems to have put it all together. Now, if we could just have some of her favorite college coaches watching....

I was actually posting this yesterday and there was an issue. Struggled a little against really slow pitching last night and went 2 for 6. But between games (doubleheader) she immediately walked out to the cages and asked the head coach to help her make some adjustments. She was hitting everything right back up the middle but the pitcher was making good plays on the ball. So she made adjustments and looked much better in the second game. Can't ask for more than that! Proud of her. Can't wait to see where this journey takes her.
