DD cleaning up her own mess

Good day for my DD catcher. Received a throw from CF to make the easy tag to get out of the inning and then cleaned up her own mess on a dropped pitch.

Also kudos to the baserunners for being honest; with the ump's back turned to them, they could be half way to 3rd base before the pitch is released and not get called on it.

It was a friendly scrimmage ... if they were more aggressive running then both of them would probably have been safe. .

Town rules during COVID require the ump to call pitches from behind the plate.

The CF had three plays at the plate during the summer that the backup catcher misplayed. She was happy to finally get the out.
