Ive heard dropping / dragging ...any advice on some drills to break that habit would be greatly appreciated ...thanks in advance

Dropping the hands as well, I assume?
Try a ball, mine is half the size of those play or pool balls. Place the ball under the front arm and in between the back arm/body.
From experience it’s because they are trying to swing with the arms. They need to swing with the hands and that is what the ball under and between the body helps with.
